"My first day on a paddleboard"

I’ve always been captivated by human-powered craft—oar-driven boats and, more recently, paddleboards. The smooth rhythm: the board’s glide, the watery sound as the paddle dips in. It all nudged me to finally buy one. That very first outing became the spark for this story.
